Subscription terms

Monthly when you need flexibility. Annual when you want to prepay.

These Subscription Terms explain MyMEX pricing, billing, card capacity, renewals, cancellation, failed payments and payment-provider responsibilities.

01

Order and activation

The order presented before PayPal approval identifies the customer, active-card capacity, billing interval, price version, currency, total amount, payment provider and provider subscription reference where available. The subscription begins only when PayPal confirms activation. No paid capacity is activated merely because an account or workspace was created.

02

Monthly subscriptions

A monthly subscription is month-to-month. The customer authorises PayPal to collect the displayed monthly amount each month until the subscription is cancelled, expires, is suspended or is replaced by another approved billing arrangement.

03

Annual subscriptions

An annual subscription is prepaid for a twelve-month access period at the displayed annual amount. The customer may cancel the next renewal, but access continues through the paid annual period unless the account is suspended for a lawful reason such as abuse, fraud, security risk or a serious breach.

04

Prices and payment

Prices are calculated from approved active-card capacity and the published price version shown before checkout. PayPal processes recurring payments under its own terms. Taxes, exchange costs or provider charges apply only where displayed or required by law. The customer authorises the payment schedule approved in PayPal.

05

Card capacity

Each active, non-archived card consumes one purchased card place. Archived cards remain stored without consuming paid capacity. Added capacity is subject to the current published price and PayPal approval. Capacity cannot be reduced below the current active-card count.

06

Cancellation effect

Cancellation stops the next renewal or future recurring payment. It does not immediately delete the workspace, remove published cards or disable access for a period that has already been paid, unless a lawful suspension or termination reason applies. MyMEX records the cancellation time, effective date and responsible user where the cancellation is requested through the platform.

07

Payment-provider cancellation

Where a PayPal subscription is active, MyMEX must cancel or suspend the PayPal recurring subscription before treating the cancellation as completed. A local database flag alone is not enough to stop a PayPal charge. Customers may also cancel from PayPal, but should use the MyMEX support or cancellation workflow so access, audit records and final account treatment can be confirmed.

08

Failed payment and past-due access

PayPal may retry a failed payment. MyMEX may mark the subscription as past due, provide a reasonable grace period, notify the account owner and then suspend publishing or administration if payment remains overdue. Suspension does not erase tenant data or waive lawful amounts due. Access can be restored after verified payment or another approved access arrangement.

09

Refunds and credits

Completed periods are not automatically refundable. Any refund or credit will be determined under applicable law, the value already supplied, amounts still belonging to the customer, the reason for cancellation and any written commercial approval. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory refund, cooling-off or remedy right.

10

Trials and complimentary access

A trial does not create a PayPal charge and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. A paid subscription begins only after a separate order and PayPal approval. Complimentary or trial access may expire or be withdrawn according to its stated conditions, subject to any separate written agreement.

11

Records and authority

MyMEX stores the accepted document version, acceptance time, authorised account, billing interval, price, currency, active-card capacity, payment provider reference, order context and document fingerprint. The person approving checkout confirms authority to purchase for the named customer. Customers must promptly correct an incorrect legal-party classification.

12

Priority and mandatory rights

A signed enterprise order or statement of work may add specific commercial terms. If it conflicts with these Subscription Terms, the signed order controls only for that subject. Mandatory South African consumer rights and any other mandatory legal rights always prevail to the extent they cannot lawfully be varied.

13

Billing contact

Billing, renewal and cancellation requests may be submitted through the recorded support form or to admin@motoringexcellence.com. Do not send passwords, full payment credentials or PayPal secrets to support.

Protection you can understand.

Layered safeguards help protect your account, payments and information while keeping responsibilities and limitations clear.

Controls reviewed 26 October 2026 · Reviews are ongoing
01

Account access

Login throttling limits repeated password guesses. Session expiry, revocation and active-user checks help stop stale access. Keep credentials private and remove staff access when responsibilities change.

02

Payment safeguards

Payment verification and duplicate-processing safeguards help prevent false payment activation and repeated billing. They do not guarantee protection against every payment dispute or fraud scenario.

03

Encrypted connections

HTTPS protects information travelling between your browser and MyMEX. Check the website address before signing in. HTTPS does not make a fraudulent website trustworthy.

04

Restricted system files

Private configuration and restricted file permissions help reduce unauthorized reading or changes to sensitive application files.

05

Recovery safeguards

Selected production database and application backups were restored and checked in isolation. Deployment rollback was rehearsed. Full restored-service business testing remains outstanding.

06

Ongoing review

Security reviews continue. Provider-level MFA enforcement, server patching, SSH and firewall policies, and immutable/off-site backup assurances have not yet been independently verified in this review.

07

Security is a shared responsibility

No online service eliminates every risk. Protect your credentials, review workspace access and report unexpected account or payment activity promptly. This page describes reviewed controls; it is not an independent certification or a guarantee that every platform route has been audited.

08

Report a security concern

Use our support form to request a private security follow-up. Describe the affected page and what happened. Do not send passwords, API keys, payment details or customer records. For sensitive evidence, ask support for an appropriate private channel first.
